Doug Ott is an executive coach, leadership trainer, facilitator and speaker. He leverages his more than three decades of business development and sales leadership experience to teach individuals and teams how to drive revenue growth. He provides leadership and business development consulting, one-on-one coaching, group coaching, practice group leadership skills development, strategic planning, workshops, and public speaking.
He has trained and coached professionals in organizations ranging from small tech companies to large professional services firms, yet his market focus is working with professionals in the professional services market.
Doug made a shift in his sales career when he joined Deloitte in 2006 where he was in charge of business development for the forensic accounting group on the West Coast. Since then, Doug has been working closely with accountants and lawyers in the business development world where he not only leverages his 3 decades of sales experience but over 14 years of professional services experience.
When Doug is not coaching professionals, he enjoys living the mountain life with his wife, son, and three dogs in Truckee, CA. Doug is a Bay Area native who decided to make the move to live in the mountains with his wife 4 years ago where his is now pursuing his personal and professional passions. He is an avid cyclist and skier and a lover of music. He has played the blues harmonica since college and is always looking for opportunities to play live music. He is also a lover of fine wine and craft beer and is an investment partner in a winery in Anderson Valley.
