Everything’s Not OK and That’s OK

MULTI-GENERATIONAL WORKPLACE EXPERT | COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT | SPEAKER

Thank you for stopping by! I started my business in 2015 as a side hustle while working full time at the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and took it full time in 2017. Throughout my career at different universities, I noticed that students would be optimistic when talking with their friends about their professional future, last exam, or how they felt overall. But when I met with them one-on-one, everything wasn’t OK and they were open and honest about how they were really feeling. These conversations led to my business name… Everything’s Not OK and That’s OK.

We tend to hide behind our feelings and failures and try to put on a brave face. But, life isn’t always OK.  Whether you’re a college student, young professional, business owner, manager, or executive; it’s important to be honest with ourselves and others about where we are and where we might want to go. True transparency and honesty make us stronger as individuals, teams and organizations.

I am passionate about helping others and their organizations take their communication to the next level. When we admit that we’re not OK, we open ourselves up to learn and experience things that we might not otherwise have done.

While I started the business as a way to help young professionals transition into their careers and find ways to stand out and get noticed; I now work directly with organizations and their leaders. I collaborate with them to bridge communication barriers between teams, generations, geography, and job functions; providing my clients with a strategic communication plan. I use my certifications (StrengthsFinder, MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory) across industries including: broadcasting, medical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, industrial, education and government.

I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with non-profits to Fortune 500 companies and get to the bottom of pain points with employees. I facilitate spaces for them to come together and learn from one another. It’s during these training sessions and speaking engagements that I continue to bring to light that employees of all levels and backgrounds are looking to do good work, develop within their roles, and enhance the organization’s mission. I also provide strategies to communicate their needs, wants, and expectations in ways that each individual can understand and implement.

My expertise has been featured in media outlets such as ForbesCNN, ABC, CBS, NPR, Moneyish and more. I come to every training and speaking engagement with an upbeat personality and true passion for wanting the audience and their organizations to get to the next level. I try to bring a fresh perspective that drives positive change both at the event and after.

I would love to get to know you and your organization’s needs. Sign up for a free discovery call to identify how we can work together to take you and your organization to the next level.
