Joyce Kyles is an award winning, international speaker, 2x Amazon best selling author, life and thriving skills coach, and consultant. She is the CEO of Joyce Kyles Consulting & the Executive Director & Founder of Walking Into A New Life. A graduate of Arkansas State University, she has received certifications from Cornell University in Women’s Entrepreneurship, the University of South Florida in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, and the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in Mental Health First Aid USA. She as also received certifications in domestic violence, sexual assault, and child sex abuse. Her humbling accolades and published work include features in Huffington Post, The Memphis Flyer, Tri-State Defender, Black Press USA, the New Orleans Tribune, the Welcome Greenbook for Black Tourists and being named the Crime Victim Advocate of the Year. Joyce also wrote PSAs and performed voiceovers used for domestic violence campaigns for 103.5FM, a local Cumulus affiliate station. Joyce currently serves as the Vice President of the Memphis & Shelby Co Domestic and Sexual Violence Council and is a member of the International Coaching Federation-Tennessee Chapter and Philanthroforce.

Rebecca Baumgartner is the Vice President of Human Resources for the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. As a champion for personal and professional wellbeing, Rebecca brings her extensive background in human resources, organizational development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion to help others strengthen their personal awareness and build new skills to more powerfully navigate their journey. She draws from skill sets such as emotional intelligence, positive psychology, resilience, and courageous leadership to support others in their goals to become more inclusive and more impactful leaders to themselves and others.

Rebecca is skilled in professional and leadership development, coaching, and the strategic planning and implementation of diversity and inclusion programs, initiatives, and efforts. She has been a featured speaker for organizations such as National Association for Legal Professionals, Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals, Tulane School of Law, Central Exchange, Anheuser-Busch, Hallmark, and the Professional Development Consortium. Additionally, she has contributed to and written for publications such as Forbes, The American Lawyer, Working Mother Media, and The Good Men Project. Rebecca was featured by InsightsSuccess as one of the “10 Most Inspiring Business Women in 2021.”

Rebecca sits on the board of the Northland Symphony and Orchestra, dedicated to providing music and arts education to youth in the community, as well as the Racial Equity and Inclusion Kansas City organization.  She serves on the Patron Committee for UnitedWe, is an Advisory Board Member for the Conscious Inclusion Company – a national diversity, equity and inclusion consulting organization – and is a faculty member for the Executive Leadership Institute.  Rebecca has also dedicated her time to national committees including the Law Firm Anti-Racism Alliance Voting Rights Committee and the National Diversity Council.

Claudia Clark

Claudia Clark holds three Masters Degrees: 1) an M.A. in Labor in Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; 2) an M.A. in U.S. History with an emphasis on women’s history from San Jose State University; and 3) a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan with an emphasis in Community Organizing. She received her B.A. in History and Public Policy from Michigan State University. During her time at Michigan State, she served as President of the College Democrats and was an active member of the college’s Amnesty International, NOW, and Pro-Choice groups.

Clark has worked on political and social justice campaigns, including serving as: a campaign manager for a school bond measure for the South San Francisco Unified Schools Campaign; as a community organizer with ACORN; as a field organizer for the South Bay Labor Organization in San Jose, California; and as a field organizer for the South Dakota Campaign for Healthy families. She has volunteered for many Democratic Party organizations, NAACP Groups, Planned Parenthood affiliations, and for Toastmaster’s International.

Clark and her husband moved from San Jose California to Bavaria, Germany in September 2017. Since living in Germany, she volunteered with the Democrats Abroad, Germany Chapter, and is an active member of the American Association of University Women Germany chapters, and Toastmasters International Munich Chapter. She is currently conducting research for her next book about the rise in the rise in the alt-right in Europe.

Penny Colman is the author of award-winning biographies and social histories. Her intriguing topics range from Rosie the Riveter: Women Working on the Home Front in World War II to Corpses, Coffins, and Crypts: A History of Burial. A popular speaker, Penny has appeared on television and radio, including National Public Radio, and on Book TV, C-Span2. She has been honored by the New Jersey State Legislature for her books and public appearances that have “contributed to the advancement of women.” The New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs presented her with the New Jersey Women of Achievement Award. A graduate of The University of Michigan and The Johns Hopkins University, Penny has taught nonfiction literature and creative writing at various colleges and universities, including Teachers College, Columbia University and Queens College, The City University of New York, where she was a Distinguished Lecturer.

Raychel McBride is a 10-year Human Resources professional advocating for diversity using data. She is the CEO of Corporate KIN Diversity Strategies, where she uses essential skills such as empathy, accountability, and long-term strategy to create culture transformation. She prides herself on being a strategist and visionary that lives in the land of what could be, not what is. In 2007, Raychel graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and later attended Argosy University Chicago to complete her Master of Science in Human Resource Management. In 2020, Raychel obtained her Senior Certified Professional certification with the Society for Human Resource Management.

In her free time, Raychel is the Podcast Host of Freedom & Champagne - a podcast to celebrate diversity through storytelling. Raychel serves as the co-chair for the Forefront Building Board Diversity task force and is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She volunteers on the NPR Illinois Advisory Board, Forefront Advancing Racial Equity Committee, Illinois Women in Leadership Equity Special Interest Group and a number of Land of Lincoln Community Foundation committees. She was named a Springfield Business Journal Forty under 40 in 2019 and is a graduate of the 2020 Leadership Illinois class.
