Kat de Haën is a co-founder of The Fourth Floor, a curated community and tech-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem that seeks to get more womxn on the boards of womxn founded start-ups and established companies, so they can be more successful in raising capital, building wealth, and having a say in the future of industry. She is passionate about women’s initiatives and evolving new opportunities to support other change-makers, leaders, and founders. She delights in bringing together people who can help each other in business, career, and life. 

Kat is also an inventor and successful businessperson. She invented and brought to market a popular consumer beauty product and launched an upscale silk fashion line. She started her career in sales and product development in the fashion industry working with major retailers.

Born in Zurich, Switzerland and raised in Seattle. She currently lives in New York City with her husband, Jon Colman and their daughter Sophie.

Breen Sullivan is the Founder of The Fourth Floor, an innovative ecosystem reimagining the board room, investment, and how we support female entrepreneurship. Women have a hard time getting board seats and they also have a hard time raising money to scale their companies. To solve for this, the Fourth Floor brings female founders and professionals together to increase the number of women on boards, be more competitive fundraisers, and create wealth for entrepreneurs and investors.

Breen is a C-Suite executive with concentrated experience in operations, commercial contracting, human resources and employment matters; organization, corporate and deal strategy; Board of Director communications and responsibilities; privacy and risk management; financial matters, and occasionally novel challenges. As a career general counsel, Breen has worked with startup and high-growth companies for nearly a decade, specializing in technology, SaaS, energy efficiency, and data science.

Breen and The Fourth Floor have been featured by Forbes, Corporate Counsel Magazine, Law.com, The American Lawyer, Above The Law, Women On The Record Podcast, and Her CEO Journey: The Business Finance Podcast for Women Entrepreneurs. She holds a JD from Tulane and a BA from Yale University. She has earned certificates and completed coursework at Boalt Hall, Berkeley, Universita Degli Studi di Firenzi, and Humboldt-Universität Zu.

Breen also personally invests in startups and enjoys serving as a Board Advisor to startup and growth companies.

Emily Woloschuk is an award-winning marketing and business development professional who helps lawyers build their book of business and deliver outstanding client service.

Driven by the belief that effective communication is key to one’s success, Emily takes pride in providing strategic guidance on business development efforts, marketing and public relations, client feedback programs, and digital marketing.

Most recently Emily was the Director of Marketing & Business Development at a litigation boutique. She worked with the lawyers on business development initiatives that supported the firm’s strategic plan. For her work in helping the firm achieve national recognition as a top-tier trial firm, Emily received a Your Honor Award from the Legal Marketing Association Southeast region (LMASE).

Emily is the 2021 President-Elect of the LMASE Board of Directors.

Her passion for communications can be traced back to the 12th grade, where Emily spent significant time working on a speech honoring the Civil Rights leader Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth at the 1992 opening ceremony of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.

Outside of the office, Emily enjoys cooking, gardening, travel, and yoga.

Meade Hartfield has represented clients nationwide in a variety of industries, including financial services, drug and medical device, automotive, aviation, industrial equipment, insurance, and environmental. Her financial services practice includes representing financial institutions, auto-finance lenders and mortgage companies in defensive litigation matters throughout the country, including alleged violations of TCPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA and state deceptive trade practices laws. She also spearheads regulatory compliance services in response to pending or new legislation.

Meade has been admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Heidi Turner is a Communications Consultant | Public Speaker | Instructor | Writer | Advocate

Heidi Turner is the founder and owner of Corporate Writers, and is passionate about helping women magnify their messages.

Heidi has written for clients in numerous sectors, including legal, technology, healthcare and finance. She has helped law firms establish their authority and build their clientele, and assisted local immigration organizations in increasing awareness of their services. She helps her clients find their authentic voices to engage their audiences and build their brand.

Heidi has a bachelor's degree in general studies from Simon Fraser University and currently instructs students enrolled in SFU's editing program. She frequently gives presentations to organizations about freelance writing, networking, starting and running a business and other writing-related topics. She has presented or spoken on panels for the Professional Writers Association of Canada, Editors Canada, Editors BC, MagNet, University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, University of the Fraser Valley, Magazines BC, and local arts and immigration organizations.

In 2013, Heidi was honoured with the Abbotsford Arts Council's Arty Award for Outstanding Artist in the Literary Arts. She spends her free time advising and mentoring fellow freelance writers on starting their business and networking. She previously founded a group for local business women to meet and discuss their career and business issues while supporting each other.

For four years, Heidi served on the national board of directors for the Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC, now the Freelance Media Guild) as the BC Regional Director.

She is passionate about advocating for women's rights, diversity, and inclusion, and is especially interested in changing policies and language that are unnecessarily complex and exclusionary.
