Jennifer Willey launched Wet Cement to help unlock fearlessness to unleash growth for individuals and organizations around the world. She is proud to be one of only 50 CEOs in the US leading a company that is double-certified as a Disability-Owned (DOBE) and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).
Wet Cement’s approach is informed by proprietary research, led by behavioral scientists from Wharton, to understand what fears hold people back professionally, and how that differs by gender. These findings are coupled with a comprehensive analysis of academic literature over the past 75 years and proprietary diagnostic tools that assess your team’s strengths and weaknesses, so every program is customized to your business needs. Every program focuses on their five Fearless Fundamentals: Confidence, Communication, Control, Connections and Courage. In addition to their core “Fearless Strategies for Professional Growth” Program, they offer a “Fearless Growth: Sales Edition” and “Fearless Growth: Advance Women at Work Edition.”
What truly differentiates their full-service training, coaching and consulting programs is Jenn’s unique experience, that informs all of their curriculum and methods. Before launching Wet Cement in 2017, she spent 20+ years leading sales, strategy and marketing for tech and digital media companies… including Verizon Media/AOL, WebMD, Yahoo and pwc. She built in-house Women’s Leadership initiatives and championed ground-breaking programming while serving on the Boards of industry associations. Before that, she learned a thing or two about overcoming fear and compelling communication as a TV news anchor and reporter. And she started motivating others to achieve their goals, as a certified fitness instructor for 15 years.
Jennifer is a global Keynote Speaker and Content Creator. Fearless in 5 is her snackable, career-enhancing video series that helps business professionals learn how to unlock their fearlessness to be more successful at work and in life. She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association.
Jenn’s personal mission is supporting the advancement of women. Wet Cement donates 1% of its profit and 1% of its time to the non-profit Working for Women; and she is a founding member of the Enrichment Committee for Impact100 Jersey Coast, a philanthropic organization for women.
Jennifer graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Communications, and earned her Diversity and Inclusion Certification from eCornell in 2019. She lives in New Jersey with her husband John and two teenage sons.
